Rev. Darrell W. Boswell
Senior Pastor
After twenty years in corporate management Darrell Boswell felt God stirring something deep in his heart; it was the call of ministry. Since answering God’s call Rev. Boswell has served as a staff pastor for two mega churches in the Dallas, TX Metroplex; Hillcrest Church with Dr. Morris Sheats and Calvary Church in Irving, TX with Dr. J. Don George.
Pastor Boswell also served in two church plants, CFN Church on campus at Christ for the Nations in Dallas and Heritage Church of Dallas in Richardson, TX where he oversaw the staff and church administration.
In 2008 the Boswell’s moved to Southeast Texas and began the ministry assignment at
Santa Fe Christian Church where Darrell is the Senior Pastor.
Rev. Darrell W. Boswell graduated from Christ for the Nations with degrees in Theology and Pastoral Ministry. He also holds a B.A. in Christian Ministry, a B.S. in Communications and an M. Ed. in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University.
Rev. Boswell co-authored the book Building Better Churches; Building Blocks That Matter with Dr. Morris Sheats.
Darrell Boswell is married to Carol and has two grown children Amy and Andy and four grandchildren.
Pastor Greg Lackey
Associate Pastor, Member Care
For nearly 40 years Pastor Greg has earned an honorable living in government service while devoting his life in service to his Master.
Greg’s 24 years in the United States Air Force serving in Avionics, Quality Assurance, R&M, and Network Administration specialties; plus his 14 years in Harris and Galveston County Government as I.T. Director and Asst. General Manager, have allowed him opportunities to serve the Lord in churches in Arkansas, California, North Carolina, Texas, and West Berlin Germany.
Always open to God’s leading, he has served as Deacon, Elder, Teacher, and Pastor. He has taught Sunday School and Church Bible classes for adults, teens, and children; led small cell and home bible study groups; been a Worship Leader, Audio Technician, Cable TV Show Director, Teen Musical Director, and I.T. Coordinator.
Married to his wife Kay for 36 years, he is the proud father of Beth and Josh Lackey and grandpa to namesake Greg, Kiersten and Kaiti Lackey. He is one of SFCC’s Associate Pastors and is Director of Member Care.
Pastor Richard Pourchot
Associate Pastor, Youth
Richard Pourchot was born in Galveston, Texas in 1981 and moved to Santa Fe, Texas at the age of two.
Richard remained in his native hometown and graduated from Santa Fe High School in 2000. In 2001, Richard married his then high school sweetheart, Amber Tatum, who also graduated from Santa Fe High School.
They now have two daughters, Chloe Grace Pourchot and Paisliegh Re’Ann Pourchot. Their family currently resides in Santa Fe. Richard began working at Amegy Bank in 2000, and was promoted to management in 2007.
Richard was called into ministry in 6th grade where God spoke to him at The Good News Camp retreat in Hitchcock, Texas. Richard also dedicated his time to help out during Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church of Alta Loma.
Richard attended Solid Rock Church during his high school years where he was under the leadership of Chad and Michelle Pourchot, Kevin and Yvonne Cole and Ronnie Scales.
Since April of 2004, Richard has served as the youth leader/youth pastor at Santa Fe Christian Church on a part-time basis.
