In 2009 Santa Fe Christian Church launched a ministry for women, by women, to the women of Galveston County, Texas. The group is called S. O. S. which is an acronym with a double meaning.  First, SOS stands for Serving Our Savior. It also stands for Sharing Our Story which is exactly what this group does. To live a Christian life means having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We are also called to have personal relationships with those around us. Only through true relationship can deep and meaningful friendships develop.

The SOS Women’s Ministry mission is to build deep, lasting relationships through the sharing of life experiences with one another. Each month this ministry actively participates in reaching out to members of the SFCC congregation as well as the Santa Fe community.
