SFCC FAQ's

What can I expect on my first visit:

Santa Fe Christian Church is a friendly church with about 100 regular attendees. You will be greeted with a friendly smile and warm hellos. Most members dress casual and comfortable. As a first time guest we will acknowledge you and give you a packet containing ministry information and a one minute survey that you can mail back at your convenience. You will not have to stand to be recognized or say anything in the service.

What is the weekend service like:

Sunday Mornings at SFCC are exciting. The S.O.S. Women’s Ministry starts the morning by offering breakfast from 9-9:30 AM. Get a cup of coffee and a breakfast biscuit or burrito and enjoy it during a Sunday school class that runs from 9:30 to 10:15 AM.

The Morning Worship Service runs from 10:30 to 12:15 and includes a time of anointed, contemporary worship music and singing, observance of the Lord’s Supper, corporate prayer, a relevant Biblical message, an invitation and prayer ministry time, and a benediction blessing.

Where do I take my children:

The children’s wing at SFCC is located at the back of our facilities. There are clearly marked signs to lead the way. We have two nurseries, one for babies and one for toddlers. We have classes for pre-school through pre-teen children. Our children’s workers are experienced; love kids and have passed background checks.

Do you have something for students:

The Student Ministry at SFCC is called RESPECT 412 and is led by Pastor Richard Pourchot. This group of Jr. and Sr. High students meet on Sunday Morning at 9:30AM and Wednesday evening at 7:00PM. RESPECT 412 actively ministers in the community through drama skits and human videos. They meet with other youth groups in the Santa Fe area to attend rallies, 5th Quarters, and Lock-ins. Each year SFCC youth participate in ministry fundraisers and summer Camp.
